Jewellery Longevity and Care
Our jewellery is mainly made from non-precious or semi-precious metals. Oxidisation occurs to all metals over time due to exposure to oxygen and sulphur in the air. They can be kept shiny and untarnished for a long time if the following care advice is followed.

For Optimal Jewellery Preservation
- Keep jewellery dry – most of our jewellery will tarnish quickly if exposed to water or moisture, to avoid this, please remove the jewellery before exercising, showering, or sleeping.
- Avoid perfumes or lotions – if you apply perfumes or lotions, please allow them to dry completely before wearing the jewellery.
- Cleaning advice – if you notice early stages of oxidisation, please use a soft, dry cloth and gently rub any discoloured areas, this is usually enough to clean off build up from oxidisation.
- Storage – store jewellery in a sealed closed bag or box, and in a dry place when not being worn. A jewellery box is ideal for storage and slowing down oxidisation, but if you don’t own one then alternative jewellery storing suggestions are the box your order comes in, or cellophane / grip seal bags.
